Mini-Soil-Laboratory (Test-Box) is used to determinate the quality of soil and compost.
The Mini-Soil-Laboratory is equipped with the necessary reagents for derminating the nitrogen cycle, the sulfur cycle and a pH/Redox meter, as well as other necessary equipment.

The Mini-Soil-Laboratory includes: reagents for the determination of nitrite, nitrate and ammonium-nitrogen, reagents for sulfide determination in soil, compost and other agricultural fertilizers, pH-meter with precise and redoxsonde, calibration solution(optional), digital scale, digital timer, measuring cups, measuring cylinder, laboratory spoon, syringes, petri dishes, 500ml glass, plastic bottles (for measuring solutions), round filters, ect.

The test kit allows rapid determination of mineralized nitrogen in the form of nitrate and ammonium in soil and compost. Futhermore, it is possible to quickly assess wheater the composting process has been completed and all necessary detoxification have taken place.

Nitrate and nitrit must be regulary monitored in drinking and ground water, as well as in processed, aquarium or waste water. In case of agricultural products and fruit juices, high nitrate concentrations impair their quality and durability, and can pose a serious health risks.

Nitrat-/nitrit strips should therefore be found in every "medicine cabinet" of a composter or a farmer.

Lead acetate test paper for checking the sulfur circulation in compost and soil.

The lead (II) acetate paper from Merck has been developed for use in the compost and environmental areas, since the sulfide content of compost is extremely important to evaluate the maturity of compost.

The sulfide test is essential in the monitoring of composting processes, as well as for checking the detoxification processes. This means that each compost have to be checked for sulfide before is applied.
